Office Hours:

The parish council has drop-in sessions running on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 12 noon and 2 P.M.

Persons resident in the parish of Ibstock are welcome to discuss with the Clerk any local matters concerning the parish.

(The council cannot advise on Police matters - these items should be reported to Leicestershire Constabulary on 0116 222 2222 )

Outside of the public sessions, there is the opportunity arrange an appointment at a mutually convenient time - But please telephone for an appointment first to avoid a wasted journey.

NOTICE OF A CASUAL VACANCY

PARISH COUNCILLOR

Ibstock Parish Council hereby gives notice that, due to a member of the Council leaving the parish, a CASUAL VACANCY for a parish councillor has occurred.

Persons who would like to be considered for co-opting to the parish council should contact the Clerk of the Council for further details.

Members of the parish council have the right to co-opt a new member onto the council unless a poll is claimed.

Claimed Poll

If a poll is claimed by ten electors, a bye-election will be called - the poll must be claimed within 14 working days of this notice and an election will then be held (Within 60 days of this notice.)
